Darwin’s complete works go online

The complete works of Charles Darwin are to be made available online. John van Wyhe, director of the Cambridge University project, has digitized 50,000 pages of text and 40,000 images, half of which are already available. The rest will be uploaded over the next 3 years, so that the entire collection will be ready in 2009, to mark the bicentenary of the great naturalist’s birth.
